  1. This text file contains all commands that will completely uninstall the
  2. ProDev*QUOTE Quote/Bidding system.  It will destroy all of your quotation
  3. programs and data in the \PDS sub-directory on your hard drive.

  5. Care should be taken that you have NOT installed some other system in the
  6. C:\PDS and C:\PDS\TEMP sub-directories or the following commands will erase
  7. that other software and/or data along with the ProDev*QUOTE system.  If the
  8. C:\PDS and C:\PDS\TEMP sub-directories ONLY contain the ProDev*QUOTE
  9. system, you can issue the following commands at the DOS C:\> prompt.  You
  10. need to exit Windows or any hard disk menu system.  Be VERY CAREFUL that
  11. you exactly follow the commands below or you could wipe out other files on
  12. your hard drive.  Don't type any extra spaces other than the ones after DEL
  13. and RD.  Get expert help if you are not sure!  Pro Dev Software can not be
  14. held responsible if other software or files are deleted.

  16. Where you see (Enter), just press the Enter key.

  18.    DEL C:\PDS\*.*       (Enter)
  19.    DEL C:\PDS\TEMP\*.*  (Enter)
  20.    RD C:\PDS\TEMP       (Enter)
  21.    RD C:\PDS            (Enter)

  23. The DEL C:\PDS\TEMP\*.* and RD C:\PDS\TEMP commands assume that you may
  24. have upgraded your ProDev*QUOTE system and that the files in C:\PDS\TEMP
  25. need to be DELeted.  The files in the TEMP sub-directory are used for the
  26. Upgrade Data Files process in the QUOTE program.  If you get a "File not
  27. found" error, that is Ok.

  29. If you have placed ProDev*QUOTE data in other sub-directories, you will
  30. need to DEL that data and sub-directory as well.
